I only used the the fool for removing the variable valve time solenoid. That's all I needed to do but I bought it with changing the timing chain not having used it for more is why I didn't rate it higher

Nice timing set for VW products. All the pieces feel very high quality and solid. The holders appear to be properly sized to fit in the correct places to hold the timing gears in place. I got this because I have two VW’s coming due for timing belt replacements. Wish I had this when I did the timing belt on my other VW. Solid timing tool kit!
