Great looking, good weight to dinner forks and knives Sharp enough to cut thru meats.

The Laguiole design has been replicated by many manufacturers. I am guessing the company licenses the design to any company willing to conform to the design parameters, and pay for the privilege.These are an unusual interpretation of the Laguiole “riveted” design, and I like that they are not like most other versions. These are all stainless steel, and the “rivets” are the same color as the rest of the knife, fork, or spoon.While they are light, they are also large. The knife has a serrated edge, and is easy to maneuver-and sharp.The spoon is soup spoon sized, and the fork is quite large as well.They’ve been in the dishwasher and there were no issues.I’m not sure I would want these for daily use, but I will use them regularly nonetheless. They will certainly be noticed!

This steel set feels heavy duty. I'm not worried about bending or chipping these utensils. However, the handles are kinda oddly shaped, especially for the spoons and forks. It's not an issue with the knives. It's kind of awkward to hold the spoons and forks because of those handle sizes.
