It was very straightforward to assemble and so much lighter to handle than the previous one. It also had a decent length of cable so I didn't have to keep stopping to move equipment out of my way. I also purchased the T-Racer Surface Cleaner which made washing the patio so much easier and quicker. I would have no hesitation in recommending these items to anyone.

It's a karcher so all good, noisier than the K4 though.

I loved this product very powerful very easily assembled

I have recently owned a K2 and a K3, both good machines. The K2 is air cooled, so not really comparable. The K3 is water cooled like the K5 and by far a better choice than air cooled.I found the K5 very good overall. It seemed more frugal with its use of water, and i was personally in less of a mess (water and dirt fall out) after using it than i would have been with the K3.When i finally realised the spray lance setting was manually selected, rather than auto selected as i stupidly thought, it was really good, and nice to have the ability to quickly switch settings, rather than having to change the lance as you have to on lesser models.I found the power cable quite short at only around 5m. Using extension leads with water around isn’t ideal, even when using an RCD protected socket.The high pressure hose was a good length though, 10m at a guess. And doesn’t have to be fully uncoiled from the integral winder to use, which is handy. I was very disappointed to find a hard kink in the hose from new. This doesn’t speak well of Karcher’s quality control, and i feel sure this weak point will fail in the near future and i just hope i can get a replacement. Very poor.I found the app borderline pointless, it worked, but didn’t add value imo.Overall, its good machine… is it worth three times the cost of a K3? For me it wouldn’t be, but am i happy i have it? Impending hose failure aside, yes i am.Only three stars as i’m deducting a star for the high price and another star for the hose fault which i expect to cause me issues in the near future.

The “K5 Premium Smart Control Pressure Washer” from “Kärcher” is a powerful and effective pressure washer from this highly respected German manufacturers.First off, the pressure washer arrives in a large box requiring a reasonable amount of assembly. To assemble the pressure washer you first need to download the Kärcher Home & Garden App, then scan in the QR code on the inside of the box. The App will then walk you through each stage of the assembly (you’ll need a screwdriver). Assembly took me around 5 minutes so not too bad at all.Once assembled, you then need to link the pressure washer with your phone via Bluetooth. This again is fairly straight forward, although it did take me three attempts before they paired for some reason.The actual construction and overall manufacture of the pressure washer is absolutely superb. It’s a proper German piece of equipment. Buit to last with quality materials and good strength to it.Familiarising yourself with the pressure washer is also pretty straight forward. The App guides you through the various features and then it’s a case of just giving it a go.I did our driveway with the pressure washer. It was absolutely perfect for this. The App told me what settings to put it on, and then it was simply a case of getting on with it.On the high 3 setting, the pressure washer really does clean the paving blocks very well. It blasts off the grime quickly and efficiently whilst also ripping out all of the moss, dirt and weeds between the blocks.Jumping between the other settings on the pressure washer is also a doddle, and I was able to blast clean the paving blocks, then easily change the setting to a flat spray to wash the dirt away with. Absolutely superb.All in all I cannot fault this thing at all. It’s been so quick and efficient at cleaning our driveway and the garden walls around the property. Really very highly recommended.
