Wanted to get away from metal drinking vessels but was concerned about my younger (and wilder) toddler having glass. These are GREAT because of the silicone sleeve! The wide mouth makes them easy to clean with no grooves or edges to miss a spot. The sipping straw is key for a toddler or young kids, plus it allows more room for (adult) fingers to fit while carrying it. My kids like that they can choose a color and we know which bottle belongs to whom. My toddler has knocked this out of his cup holder several times and while it is not 100% leak proof, it only dribbles a tiny amount out, and the glass has not broken or chipped. It’s a win!

I bought this to carry with me when walking, esp in the hot weather. It fits in my over the shoulder pack & isn’t too heavy.The included straw is good & easily cleaned with a straw brush.My only issue is that the straw is a little difficult to attach to the top of the bottle. I get that it needs to fit securely but takes a little effort to get it in.It also fits into my car cup holder which is wonderful since I’m trying to use less plastic & aluminum containers.

I bought this glass water bottle for my kid with the intent of decreasing toxins but the water tastes terrible. He won't drink out of it because of the terrible silicone taste from the straw. A waste of $20.
