I was surprised it was in powder form. The directions were easy. There are multiple ways to cook and I have only tried one so far. I made patties, maybe 3/8s thick, and fried. Again, I was surprised at the texture. I don't want to feel like I am eating meat but I want a deepness of texture and this is great. I think how much texture depends on how much water is used to mix it. So experimenting will be fun.It is flavorful with just the right amount of cayenne. And besides all my likes, it is protein rich.

This taste great. I wanted a meatless option for friends that are vegan. I intend on purchasing it again and eating it myself! I made the crumbles according to the package. I was impressed by how easy it was to make by adding water to the mix and cooking. I scanned the QR code on the package that took me to a site with different techniques and recipes.There is a bit of heat in the spice but I would still consider it mild. I have made it on several occasions. The mix is low in sodium so I do add salt for my taste.

I made this last night first of all when cooked texture is like rubber. It was so bad nobody ate it.I tasted it, and it left an awful taste in my mouth. If I could rate this no stars I would. Price was so expensive for this awful product. We threw it away because it was so terrible it couldn't be eaten.

When a simple man that just wants to feed his people has access to the Fennel and Sage dojo, the result is pizza. Really good pizza, with punchy, chewy dojo crumbles that compliment the crispy crust and saucy veggies. 100 recommend as a pizza topping!
