Love the texture and the taste. It is a very delicate taste, some sort of very delicate taste of banana with pineapple possibly but not strong or ultra sweet. Just a little bit sweet. I was scared at the beginning as I know the bad fame that the actual fresh Jack Fruit has regarding its odour, but the freeze dried product doesn’t small at all. Already ordered a second time and will order again. Have read someone saying is quite a filling snack and it is indeed. Not very cheap but I rather eat a healthy snack that having sugar rush from sugary crap treats or crips full or salt

Excellent taste and texture. Really nice, big pieces of mangoes. It is a rather big package, which is lovely. Great value for money. The closing of the package is great too and that way you can easily store the mangos for longer time. Love the recipe idea at the back too. I definitely recommend it.

Ordered 2 packs of the mango slices and when they arrived I opened a bag slightly to eat one it tasted bad.I then fully open the bags and they smelt rancid and fishy! The smell was awful!So disappointing, I used to buy these often.

On the package there's a statement "Pretty unique fruit" and I will agree with that, in fact, it's an understatement if anything!I've always been curious of exotic fruit and this is my first time having Jackfruit. The second it hit my tongue I had a complete ride. First thought was "eww" then it was "Hmm" followed by "Oh" then "Mmm". My first coherent thought however was that it tasted like cheese (I had heard of a fruit which did and I thought it was this so perhaps my mind tricked me into it) but then I tasted a sort of Banana / Apple flavour. Looking it up I saw claims that it tastes of pulled pork but I didn't get that.So what's the verdict? Actually, I quite liked it, the initial taste was a bit of a shock but it grew on me rather quickly. It certainly is very unique! The pieces are nice and large and they have a good crunch to them. Suffice to say, I ate the whole bag.Would I have them again? Yes, happily. I'm not going to go out of my way to get them but they're certainly different and I'm glad I got to experience them. The best thing is even though they're freeze dried and quite light, I actually found them rather filling.At £9.99 I don't really know what to say, they're a unique and I'd assume quite rare fruit to find here so I do think it's what I would expect to pay. It's a bit expensive to have as a daily snack but for a treat I think it's fine.

Usually when the price is £9.99, it comes crispy and absolutely amazing. Somehow when I bought 3 bags when it was discounted to £7.99, all 3 bags were soft and frankly quite disgusting.
