Worked great took only 15 seconds after perusing the instructions to install and another 30 to screw in the separate charger I purchased. Great system holds tight and no shaking or wobbling past what the vehicle itself is doing. Well worth the overall cost. Best mounting system I’ve used in the last 10 years.

I wish I had come across this long ago. I couldn’t quite picture how this physically mounted, but I imagined that you wedged it in between trim panels.Wrong! This actually hooks onto the edges of your air vent - not the wobbly air vent fins but the the actual dash vent frame.It physically latches on the top, but for the bottom it uses an adhesive sticker so you won’t be moving this around a lot.Because it sticks out pretty far the vent still blows air, just not straight out at you.The surface provides an AMPS-standard hole pattern although they are meant for short self-tapping screws for the company’s own holders. If you want to use proper bolts you will have to drill the holes out.On the Jeep GC, the vent is not a very good spot for your phone. It is low and partially obscured by the steering wheel.For this reason I wouldn’t recommend the company’s phone holders as they offer very limited adjustment, are a little dated in appearance and technology, and use a non-standard ball size. Better to go with a 1” style with a short arm, like Ram, and have your choice of phone position.

I like that it isn't in my cup holder anymore definitely looks good in its new location.

Very happy with this mount for several reasons. It blocks the vent from blowing in my face. Keeps my phone at eye level and out of the cupholder. No holes to drill! A bit pricey for what it is but it works well with the addition of a magnetic phone holder.
