12 Use of English Tests with answers | Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) (Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) Preparation)

I have seen many books that promise exam practice with the Reading and Use of English component of the C1 exam online, and they vary in quality. One has to be particularly aware of online exercises that contain errors. Happily, after sampling several of the exercises in this book with my C1 students, I can say that this book is error-free and represents a realistic sample of exam questions. They are certainly not too easy but present just the right amount of challenge for students taking C1. There is also a lot of variety in subject matter.(One small complaint, which also applies to the actual Cambridge exam practice books: why is the example given in the 'transformations' section always the same one, instead of a new example for each paper, since one example can't represent the different types of questions in this part of the exam?)Highly recommended!
