Spascriptions Toning Retinol Body Lotion, with with Shea Butter and Vitamins A, C, E, 33 oz

This is a nice, smooth lotion. I like the added retinol, as it helps with cellular turnover and keeping skin looking fresh and helping resolve minor wrinkles. I use several rotating retinol products on my face, so I’ve been thinking about getting one for the body (namely legs and décolletage).I like this formula—it applies easily and smoothing, ans absorbs relatively quickly (I typically slather lotion on). I have applied it after the shower, which has worked great for retaining moisture in my body skin (an area I tend do neglect in the winter).There is a slightly weird hint of a smell (almost fruity?) that I’m not really a fan of, but I tend to be sensitive to scents, so take this with a grain of salt.Overall, I’ve been pleased with the application, the formula, and the results. This is a generous sized bottle, which will last a long time, even with full body application.

I am picky about lotions. This one is okay. It feels too watery. I thought I bought the same one as my other. Will keep using it. But not as good as 5 in one Pure and Tone with Retinal. Had to get it on Ebay.

Ok so now they've jacked the price up in this from just $10 which was an Ahhhmazing deal to now it cost $24. That is a huge RIDICULOUS jump!!! First of all, this lotion was a great buy at $10 for so much but it feels watered down. And doesn't feel as hydrating as alot of other lotions I've used in the $20 range. Second, it doesn't have a smell that I can tell so I like my lotions to smell good so I have to mix mine with my EOS coconut waters lotion jus to get it to smell some. I know alot of ppl don't like their lotions to have any smell but I luv smell good lotions. So that's kinda a hassle to have to mix in my palm of my hand every night when I slather this stuff on. I do 2 pumps of this to 1 pump ratio of my smell good lotion. Also this lotion gets absorbed super quickly on its own so the other lotion mixed in helps with that as well. Like I said it's like watered down. It kinda feels like that Neutrogena hydro boost lotion. It's jus super watery feeling & doesn't last long. But for $10 for a 33oz. I could live with it but not for $24. I'll go back to my previous lotion I was using for so long at least they aren't jacking their price up $15 extra dollars for some not even mediocre lotion.

So my husband hates wearing any lotion on his body. Has always complained how the thick sticky consistency of most lotions don't feel good on the hairy parts of his body. I got this particular one just to try it out since I am getting older. I offered it to him as well and he said he liked it a lot. It wasn't sticky or greasy and applied easily and absorbed quickly. It didn't leave a weird film on the skin even after drying. He liked the scent too and said it smells fresh. His body also tends to run hot so he said this lotion felt cooling on his skin too and he would definitely get this particular line again. He also particularly likes to use it on his bald head But it's a big bottle so it's gonna last us for quite a long time! The pump was easy to use for dispensing the lotion as well.

I like how light this lotion is and that it absorbs into the skin quick. It feels good. It doesn't even feel like I put lotion on within a minute. I like that for certain things. I wouldn't reach for it for times where I need heavy duty moisturizing on super dry skin, but the rest of the time I would be happy to use this lotion. It does the trick.No skin irritation.There is a mild light scent that isn't too perfumey.You get a nice big bottle which is great.As far as the qualities with it being a toning lotion, I haven't been using it long enough yet to notice any toning effects. I'm not sure how well that really happens with lotions to begin with. I will update my review if I do notice any actual effects.

This is a large bottle of body lotion. It says it has Retinol, Peptides, and Ceramides for toning, but it would be nice to know how much is in it, especially the retinol which is the most active ingredient that I am interested in. I have not seen any obvious toning. I do like the moisturizing aspect with Shea Butter and the added Vitamin C and Vitamin E is really a bonus for my skin. It says that it is fragrance rich, but I think that the scent is mild which I am ok with.

The lotion had a pleasant scent. It smelled a bit like shea butter and something else. The cream had a pump top dispenser. The cream was thick and creamy. It smoothed on easily and didn't leave my skin tacky or sticky. My skin felt smooth and soft.
