you can buy so many different designs
i really love these i had someone put up new book shelves and wondered how i would keep the books on the ends from staying up i didnt know if they still made book end and amazon has a good vairity they work so well and very inexpensive .

Does the job
This is a good buy. You would not use them for heavy or lots of books. I find it works well for the books I have. I moved and downsized and don't have as many as I used to. I also moved to a very small space. They are pretty and light weight and work well for my purposes.

Look good, very thin
These look nice, and have soft legs to prevent damage to the shelves. But the sheet metal is very thin, will bend from the books, and they came slightly bent (not 90-deg angle), I had to straighten them a bit.

Nice but not for heavy books
The item looks exactly as described. It's very nice and works well for light books, but it can't support heavy ones—it bends under the weight.
