I bought these because I needed something easy to use and light enough for me to move around the house. However, due to the design, it’s very awkward to use in a standard A shape. The way it hinges means you have to open it up the complete opposite way, which is unlocking and locking a lot of times to get it into the basic (and most used) shape. The locks are very fiddly to use, if there is any tension at all, then you won’t be able to unlock it, so you end up having to make the smallest of movements so you can unlock it by hand (I ended up with very sore fingers trying to figure this out). It is very steady, and does indeed do the job, however I can’t use it on my stairs as the stabiliser feet are too wide for the corners so I have to take these back off when painting the landing.

Bought for caravan roof cleaning. Very sturdy. The platform is very stable and felt secure. Clipped on with no problems. The locking mechanism on the sections is excellent . - easy to use with a positive locking action. Made it easy to clean the caravan roof. Fitted easily into the back of the car.

This ladder can (as is pointed out in the description) be folded into 11 different positions - it is the Kama Sutra of ladders. So far I've only tried 3 of them, and one of them was a bit dangerous (mind you, I was wielding one of those off-centre hedge trimmers on a pole, so that may have had something to do with it).A word of caution I suppose. The clips that are spring-loaded to lock the ladder in place are a touch fierce and hard to move. That's a plus when it comes to locking in place to prevent the ladder deciding to find a 12th position, but it can make it a bit hard to get it into one of the positions you want.

Feels good quality and very strong for the weight of it. Comes complete with platform which is well made. I wasn't the platform to be included. Ladder is sturdy and fold to to a good size to fit in garage without being in the way. I'm a bigger bloke and the ladder feels strong and sturdy well in use
