Best collar for the price
Best collar for the price. Great quality, and works great. Only had to use the shock function once after that the beeps or vibration was enough. Lots of variability on vibration and shock strength so you can set it to the proper strength. Battery last for awhile, Best collar for the price.

NOT Strong enough
First Impression and main reason I bought it: 3 buttons. I've owned another collar that had 4 or 5 buttons and it was easy to push a shock when you wanted a vibrate or tone. Packaging was nice! Sturdy storage box for later after the training is complete and dog knows it's boundaries.I just got a Rescue who has been to the humane society twice for behavior problems. He's a labrador just over 2 years old so he has a lot of puppy in him. And someone played rough with him and thinks biting is play. It's going to take more than human correction. I hopefully won't need the shock feature. And it's not a long term solution. The collar strap is thick, the receiver attractive. The clicker/whistle is a nice touch. The directions and instructions were in a pamphlet and easy to understand. Although I wouldn't "test" the collar on the dog as suggested. I guess some training more detailed tips would have been nice.Hey, for under $20.00 I wasn't expecting that much so unless it's a real crap show in use, well worth the money.FINAL REVIEW. My dog just ignored it after the initial shock. RETURN REFUND please.

Get this collar
Okay I love this collar! I previously purchased a different training color (will remain unnamed) and I had to replace the charger and/or collar on three separate occasions because of the magnetic charger “port” malfunctioning.I ended up settling on this training collar because it does not have a magnetic charge port but an actual plug in. So far it charges as it should. In addition to the collar/charger working well I really love the included whistle/clicker. Over time I was able to train my dog to respond to the clicker in addition to the beep noise and I love that because she doesn’t need to always have the collar on now.I’ve never used the shock option so I can’t say anything about that but the beep and vibration work as they should and my dog responds right away to either.

One month update.
Update 1 month.Had several 300’s. Major architecture update/upgrade some improvements. Some things not so much, if at allLED display impossible to see in a bright environment, like outside.Go back to LCD.The high/low correction intensity button IN A REAL BAD SPOT Palm sits on it while operating correction buttons with your thumb. Maybe worse than the older 300s. Its intensity is either all the way down or all the way up for each correction from your palm resting on it. Think about that [don’t ask, my poor boy]. Put that button on the bottom too out-of-the-way. What a great idea that is. Figure it out.BiologicalIs there a reason why the shock function can’t start “0” and must start at “1”? One is more than enough for my dog. Shock starts high and goes from there.I thought it was designed in a conference room. Made beautiful by CAD and no one took it outside to test its practicality.***Again, the intensity button is in a real bad spot. Maybe in a worse spot than the old 300s.

Easy to get off
I find it’s much stronger than the other 2 main collars they have. Ive had 3 different ones so far n this one’s my favorite but I will say I absolutely hate the strap for the single reason my dog can literally scratch it lose or all the way off and has even scratched it off power wise, which blew my mind but the one upside to the non fabric strap is that you can just easily wipe it off so not putting a nasty collar on after showing your dogs, the “fastener” should definitely be an actual clip of some sort as it’s literally just a push on part no actual security, but unless my dog doesn’t scratch it it stays on.
