I bought to help with a difficult watch that I needed to get closed. I applied so much pressure that this equipment began to bend but did not do what I wanted. I honestly thought it was made of steel, and would have gotten the job done if it were.

Thought it was made out of cast iron. I was wrong its a nylon material covering steel should be fine I only paid $11.00 its worth that. But a couple dollars more you can get one made out of cast iron. Should be strong enough time will tell.
