Flat Cat Hardcover – Picture Book, September 19, 2023

My daughter, a crazy cat lady, absolutely loved this book from the very first reading. I will confess that I was instantly charmed too. It's quirky and warm and funny. A new favorite in our house!

First found this book as a “read aloud” on YouTube. And it was such a hit we looked it up to buy it. Great quality binding, print looks awesome, and it’s a decent size! For reference our littles are 5 4 and 2..and they all sit still to enjoy this read. We love it and are so glad we added this to our book collection!

Flat Cat is a cool cat who loves his life until, one day, the washing machine happens and, POOF, he's flat no more! Kids will love this hilarious book. It's lines work when read aloud and the illustrations add another layer of fun.A must-have for anyone who loves lol humor. The Aunt Harriet section is my favorite.Your elementary school teacher will thank you if you buy them this book for their classroom library.

Loved it! Was already smiling on page 1, then laughs soon followed. So fun to read aloud. Like most of Tara’s wonderful picture books, FLAT CAT is choc full of word play and humorous silliness, but at heart it’s a story about finding the best of both worlds and that it’s okay to change your mind.

My kid love this book! We borrowed it from the library and they kept making flat cat references and jokes a month later.We were all laughingwhen we read it, even the adults were chuckling.

Tara Lazar’s witty wordplay along with Pete Oswald’s incredible illustrations make this goofy cat tale a great read aloud!

I loved everything about this book! It's funny, creative, has wonderful word play, a lot of heart and adorable illustrations. It's super fun to read out loud and I predict kids will be wanting to read this book over and over.

It’s alway fun to read a cat story, but a humorous one is even better. Poor Flat Cat’s world is turned upside down when he mistakenly goes through the wash and fluffs out. How can he be the cool cat now? Kids will love reading about his adventures in this story and also the sequel, Flat Cat: The School Pet.
