Grandson and sons were making wooden racks with 5-gallon Homer buckets. I am buying 3 racks for my back porch to grow crops, but did not want bright orange buckets on my pretty back porch. Finding 12 heavy duty, 90 Mil thick, food safe, neutrally colored 5-gallon buckets is not as easy as you would think. These are translucent (“natural” colored) which means they do not impose as much as the solid brightly colored buckets would, since the contents show through slightly, allowing them to blend somewhat with their surroundings. I LOVE to putter around on my back porch with my new vegetable-growing project and my porch looks beautiful with all the lush veggie plants!
