How long would people advise that it stays in the hot water to soften if the instructions make it too gooey?

As per the instructions, the best way is to remove the mouthguard as soon as it apears to be losing it's shape, even or when the recommend time ends, whichever happens first. Slight differences in container/ water temperature, etc. can lead to slight differences in time required so that is the best guidance. Although a soft mouthguard will provide an even better fit once set.

Is this suitable for my 7yr old son
