Automatically close shutters
Used this as a direct replacement for the non shuttered version. Screw holes and wiring were compatible with the existing layout. The shutters take about 30 seconds to open and shut, but they keep the cold air out when the fan is off.

A great piece of kit
This is the third of these I have bought for various properties over the last 20 years. They are powerful enough to work effectively over a distance of about 15 metres to the outside wall here. I much prefer the one-way system on these extractors compared with those with a simple soft polythene sheet beyond the fan, which never works well in my experience. This extractor stops cold air blowing back into your home in strong winds. It also prevents spiders from creeping in during the winter!

A little loud but works well
Fan is far from silent when running, but the draught shutters work well and it is quite powerful. Does a good job of keeping condensation down in our shower room.
