I doubt this was what this mesh was intended for but it works for me. The cutlery baskets in my dishwasher are fragile to say the least and expensive to replace. I was fed up with the the bottom of the baskets breaking and knives, forks and spoons dropping through and stopping the diswasher arms from spinning. So, I bought this this stainless steel mesh and cut it into little panels to to fit the bottom of the baskets. Voila! no more cutlery dropping through the baskets. Job done!

Great stainless steel mesh for modelling

Arrived on time. Have used it to cover air bricks to stop mice getting into house. Quite easy to cut into two pieces. Used glue to stick down which seemed to be effective. Haven't been back to see how it's holding up but suspect it will be fine. Probably a little finer mesh that we needed.

Bought these for my air bricks outside wall cut each sheet in half they covered air bricks perfectly stuck them on with glue no nails to stop wasps building their nests as they did this year in the cavity wall ! Perfect for the job! Greate value for the rustproof gauge metal mesh.

Just the job for putting over my air bricks.......managed to cover 16 air bricks from five sheets.....and I did not need special cutters as my large scissors cut through adequately.....I stuck them in place using a no nails type adhesive,I would recommend this product because it does the job at a very reasonable price.....saving pounds on maufactured covers.

Used for blocking up gaps where a mouse kept coming into our kitchen from the ceiling/loft area. We secured with tacks and drawing pins. It doesn't look pretty (but is hidden from sight anyway) but does 100% work and exactly what we were after. Easy to cut with scissors, a little harder to bend but can be done. Perfect as didn't want to use kill traps and humane traps didn't work.

All attempts to glue this to the brick wall failed, even though I went to my local DIY store for advice. However, suggest you put on thick gardening gloves and mould this mesh into a shape that fits the air vents. Worked wonders for us.

Purchased for vent backing on narrow boat to stop insects getting in.. Works very well. Easy to cut with fisherman's braid line scissors. Did all the vents.. No spiders or midges since!
