I used the entire bag of moss in the picture. It is a really nice amount in my opinion for what you pay, I think for many people you could definitely have a good amount of leftovers. I loved the look and smell of it so I decided to use it all. Hamster likes it too, thank you!

This product came vacuumed sealed for freshness! I added a layer of this on top of his bedding, and he just loves it!!! It all natural and looks like a little forest! It’s a great value for your money, and makes my gerbil so happy! He is very comfortable as if he is in his natural environment!!! It’s so awesome

This moss will work well for my wife's craft projects, she likes that it doesn't have an unpleasant odor that we have seen in some packaged moss. The pieces of moss are loose and in nice chunks that seem to hold together well, we would order again.
