Bought this as a gift for my mother but I have also been using it , it's a beautiful piece. Holds enough water to make 3 cups of tea which was enough for me. The material in the handle did prevent the cast iron from burning me which was a concern for me.This tea pot Works well. It is a bit expensive but but I think it's worth the cost. Product was easy to clean and i have had no issues with heat messing up the design. All in all it's a great tea pot.

Love this tea pot! Even the tea cups are made of the cast iron. Our family enjoy this tea set in this cold winter.

Updated 06/12/2024: Thank you for getting us this beautiful teapot replacement ASAP. It meant a lot to Mum and me. She can feel closer to her maternal Asian heritage each time she makes her tea. I love the kettle set but with the handle on. There was no way possible to put it on or off. I'm asking for a replacement since I really love this teapot. I'll update what happened. I'm hoping to upgrade to a five star.
