Samsung offers a flat remote to replace the curved remotes which absolutely break when dropped.
Much better design than the POS Samsung curved remote that comes built in with potential energy that wants to snap it flat when you drop it. This is my 3rd remote and it already is holding up to being dropped, where the other curved one would break in half. Thanks Samsung, 3 remotes for one TV that is 4 years old.

I hated the original curved remote so bad!Such terrible design! Every time it touched something accidentally would changed the channel or the streaming provider and had to re-open the streaming service, finding your program, and starting watching again! Super annoying!I finally came across this FLAT replacement remote control and when I realized they made this one not only flat, but with an indented buttons area, I had to try it!It paired within seconds and works great! Also has 3 extra streaming buttons including Hulu Rockuten tv and web access!Voice control is something I hardly used even on the original remote, but it seems to work. It did what I asked, so I would guess it operates as it should.Very pleased with this remote.

Works ok if close
I have to be directly in front of the sensor and within 10-12' or it won't work on my TV. My living room is setup with my chair at about 14' away so I need to sit up and lean forward to use the control. No big deal, but the original worked anywhere in the room.
