365 New Words-A-Year Page-A-Day Calendar 2024: From the Editors of Merriam-Webster Calendar – Day to Day Calendar, August 15, 2023

Good to have and use for calendar, and educational purposes. I use it daily.

This is the first word Calendar I’ve ever purchased. I bought it for my grandson who I’m hoping will become a sesquipadelian. 😉Not only are there new words that I don’t even know on the back of the page it has a “Did you Know” section. It has some interesting history of the word of the day. I would recommend this calendar, not only for learning new words but getting the family together and talking about the word of the day.Double check the year you are ordering. I caught the wrong year in my cart and luckily before I checked out, I was able to change it.It was important to me to get the current year.

I cannot go one year with having this “page-a-day” calendar on my desk. A new word is given every day with its pronunciation and definition alongside. Incorporating the word somewhere into that day’s conversation is a fun challenge to extend one’s vocabulary and lock the new word into memory’s files for future use. Any word lover will absolutely love this tool for enhancing vocabulary and enriching everyday conversation.

I usually get my kids teachers an Amazon gift cards and then something else to go with it- this year I got one of these calendars for the language arts teacher. Love how every day has a new word!

Love this particular Word a Day calendar. It offers a good variety of words ranging from ancient to obscure to useful, and I especially appreciate the etymology lessons on the back of the page. Yes, every once in a while there are some very common words that make my 10 year old to her eyes because they're too easy, but mostly they hit the sweet spot.I got a different brand of word a day calendar one year and was very disappointed in the lack of detail it had compared to this publisher.When we run out of lessons in our vocabulary book on a few weeks I intend to cobble some word lists together from these pages

My only complaint is that every single page is red. I get it, the Merriam-Webster dictionary is red... but like it's kind of boring.

I love this calendar! I get one every year. I keep it in my office and now everyone wants to know the word of the day. Origin to learn a new word everyday

This calendar is very interesting because most of the words, I have never heard of before. I try to use the word of the day each day but some of the words aren’t easy to work into a conversation.
