Thule Stroller Footmuff

This has kept our toddler warm for two winters now here in Alaska - she’s comfortable and cozy. On extra cold days, she wears a bunting inside, but usually just her regular clothes. We have the Thule Urban Glide 2 and it fits perfectly, although you kinda have to yank it up to make the seatbelts fit better. Doesn’t seem to get dirty easily, and does okay in the rain. Thule accessories are pricey but this one is worth it.

I live in Alaska and was looking for a way to keep my little one warm in the winter. This bunting bag is the perfect thing! It takes some getting use to, but eventually my little guy loved it. The bag is very spacious and offers room for growth and extra layers underneath if needed. I also like that it is fleece lined and soft to the touch. It provides me with greater flexibility to get outdoors even when its cold. I would definitely purchase this again. The only downside is the attachments are not the best at the top of the bunting bag, but we wrapped each tie around the frame of the stroller and it is very secure that way.

Looks good. More a wind breaker than warmer.

This is a well made foot muff that works well with the Thule stroller. We have the Urban Glide 2 and this fits on perfectly. Some reviews mentioned a bit of a film on the fleece lining, which I could feel when I first opened the product. I just threw it in the wash (washed in cold) and let the foot muff line dry. This took care of that film.

I really love how easy this stroller bag is to put on/take off/switch from stroller to stroller. It fits well in our Thule bike trailer as well as our BOB strollers. It is warm and keeps my baby happy. :)

Excellent. Worked very well on my thule urban glide 2. When combined with rain guard (used as wind break), baby was comfortable at 10degF outside

I was on the fence with this footmuff since I was concerned my petite 3.5 year old would get very limited use out of it. It ended up being a bit bigger than I thought which was a pleasant surprise. It keeps her very warm during frigid New England winter days. Highly recommend. Easy to install and remove.

We purchased the Thule Bunting Bag to keep baby warm in her Urban Glide 1. We love the sports stroller, and figured the bunting would be an awesome upgrade over our current method of tucking the corners of her blanket into the mesh pockets either side of baby's hips.When the bunting bag arrived I fit it into the stroller easily. As usual, Thule's instructions leave a lot to be desired, but thankfully the installation is logical. Once it was secured, I was confident baby would be safely strapped and snug. The end of the bag is slightly longer than the placement of the front wheel when empty, but is probably fine once inhabited, and will definitely allow for a sizable two year old occupant.So why two stars? Why return it? After installing the bunting bag I noticed my hands were covered in a tacky residue. My husband ran his hands over the fleece lining and came away with residue also. Clearly, we don't want baby riding in that environment. If the instructions mentioned it, said wash before use, and how to wash it, I would have washed it. As is, the box declares it's easy to wash but both the paper and sewn-on instructions fail to mention which washing machine settings to use to keep it in good condition. Given that there is no guarantee of the residue washing off, and the bunting then being healthy for baby, we chose to get our money back. This is a mild winter, and almost done, so we'll keep tucking those blankets over baby's legs. If you really need the warm layer, maybe it's worth ordering this and seeing how the lining feels after washing. It has so much potential. For us, the potential wasn't enough.The bunting bag should arrive clean and ready to use. Or, at the very least, with clear washing instructions and the ability to return it if the residue is still present after following the indicated steps. Better instructions would go a long way with Thule products in general. If you're considering the Urban Glide 1 and doing you're homework on its attachments: it's fantastic! Don't let the bunting put you off!
