Better than the brown ones!
Good bottles for brewing.Safer than glass and can take the pressure of carbonating process.I used to use brown bottles before but the clear is handy to get an idea of the finished color.I used them for cider but obviously good for other brews.

Do the job
I wanted to bottles to store my elderflower cordial in. These did the job but are a bit lightweight. If you drink GnT you might as well keep the tonic bottles as they’re the same but stronger.

Bottles ok, green screw on caps...no!
I’ve been buying these PET bottles since 2019 for drinks. Having bought as many as 8 x 24 from different suppliers I settled on one but found that the bottles started to arrive with what I can only describe as scuff marks or scrapes round the circumference of bottles. I ignored the first set but contacted the supplier the second time, requesting that they check into this after all, they weren’t selling them as seconds! They thought this was caused in transit which I disagree with as it hadn’t been happening before. This forced me to look for another supplier hence this most recent purchase. The bottles came packed sideways (whereas all other suppliers packed them upright). They weren’t all perfect but way fewer markings than previously experienced with other suppliers. My one disappointment is I cannot stand the green screw caps they provided. I would never order these and the picture of the item showed a gold cap which is what I have been used to receiving or ordering when given a choice! No more green caps please! And as a general remark it would be nice if suppliers understood that buyers expect to receive what we have seen in pictures, not substitutes!

reasonable bottles
They are a little bit flimsy but certainly up to the job. Pretty good to get you going but I would recommend getting glass bottles as soon as you can.
