This heating pad is a great value and I like the flat heating pad so I can wrap it around my shoulder or wrap it around my bicep and it works very good. They recommend you only use 50 seconds in the microwave. However, for me I like the additional 10 seconds that they add as an option if you like it a little bit hotter.

Useful, but it smelled weird when it got here. It said it was meant to smell like lavender, but it was very strongly strange. Now it is more subtly strange. It's very handy and useful, we use it a lot, but it smells weird. I didn't realize it was from China. I don't like to think of anything for medical purposes possibly having bad chemicals in it, that's why I don't like buying things from China. I am not sure whose standards on toxins are lowest, theirs or ours (USA) , but I would much rather buy this product from the US and know where the "lavendar smell" was coming from......I didn't realize it had a "lavendar smell". Without it, it's the perfect product, perfect size, and very easy to use. We will use it for a long time. Hence, the 3 instead of the 1.

This is just what I needed to warm sore muscles in my back. I heat it in the microwave for 55 seconds and it maintains warmth for well over 1/2 hour. The lavender scent is very subtle.

Quick to heat and very effective

This product heats up well, is super soft to the touch, and is amazing for pain relief. The bag isn't overly flimsy but allows you to be flexible with the positioning of where you need it to be.I read that it is supposed to have a lavender scent? I only could smell a .01% hint of it with the first use and after that, it was more of that burnt, stale popcorn smell -yes, I followed the heating directions.However, I don't think the scent issue is that big of a deal. I bought it for pain relief and heat therapy... not for it to smell like rainbows and butterflies.
