Brass stem and plausible gaskets, fits faucet well.
Installed easily, though I found it useful to have a pair of tweezers on hand to get the spring in place. Seals solidly and has held up well so far despite hard water. DIY for this is easy and much cheaper than hiring someone in to do it. I did have to spend some time staring at the original cartridge and photos of this one to find the right Delta part match (there is another cartridge that looks very similar but has a different turn stop arrangement).

One fourth the cost and they came with everything I needed to repair our tub faucets
The media could not be loaded. These work great for one fourth the cost. Don’t make the mistake I did. Try these valves from Amazon, before spending four times as much at your local plumbing supply store.I went to a local plumbing supply store to buy replacement cartridges for our bathroom Delta faucets. The plumbing supply store did not have Delta brand. They sold me some third party brand I had never heard of, so I was not really happy with their $70 cost. After I repaired the laboratory faucets, I decided to replace our tub faucets as well, because they were also leaking water beneath the handles when we turn the water on.Instead of going back to the plumbing supply store, I decided to see if Amazon had a lower cost option. These cartridges came with the handle turn stop plastic parts as well as the new springs and new rubber parts at a whole lot cheaper price. I had to buy those things separately at the plumbing supply store. These valves fit our tub faucets perfectly and stopped the leaks. See video. Before I replaced the valves, water would leak beneath the faucet handles. I am buying these valves from Amazon from now on when I need to replace Delta water valves.

Worked and fit perfectly, quality rivals OEM. Flow rate slightly different than OEM
Had a dripping bathroom sink faucet. Got new handles from Delta for free, but they sent me the wrong valve, so I bit the bullet and gave these a try. Fit perfectly, the quality is great, comes with stainless steel screws for the handles. OEM stem is plastic, these are brass. The rubber valves seem better than OEM. Operation is smooth and they work great (no more leaks too). The flow rate is somewhat different than OEM, have to turn further than OEM to get the same flow, but that's a minor quirk and I quickly got used to them. Operation is smooth as silk. Definitely recommend them. Time will tell how long they last, but all good for now.

rubber seats too wide and not flexible - revised
The only problem that I had was that the 'rubber' seats were too large to fit into the opening and too rigid to be pushed down to fit. I re-watched a video a couple more times to make sure the seat went with the open side down (over the spring), but I could not force the seat to fit. I eventually ripped one so I put the old seats back in. The faucet still drips, so I ordered a set of just seats and springs. The seats seem to have too wide of a flange at the bottom and were much stiffer than the ones I replaced. The replacement seats were exactly the same, so not the seller's fault. I carefully sanded a little off of the bottom rim of the seats and used the positive end of a AA battery to push the seats down into the opening (this helped align the seat by keeping the hole centered). The seat has to fit snugly but still be able to move up and down or it doesn't seal. The stem assemblies are fine.I revised this review after receiving the seal and spring kit.

Very well made product
Very well made product, these install easily and work properly. Bought many replacements in hardware stores that do not work properly, and don't last. These I highly recommend.

Quality Delta Repair Valves
I have five bathrooms with these Delta style faucets that have these type of valve cartridges. My local big box store sells these valves for $17.34 each. I purchased four from Amazon for $22.00 You do the math.

If this item doesn't work with your faucet, order from Delta!
Didn't work with my Delta Faucet. It was the correct part number as I still have the manual for this bath faucet. It looks very, very similar to the original valve but wouldn't seat fully. The original problem was water leakage from the rear of one side of the faucet. At first, I suspected that the gasket between the faucet and the sink top was the problem. But, removing the faucet to replace the gasket was going to be a lot of work. So, I purchased this item. Basically, "fit" okay, but wouldn't seat quite enough for the locking ring to start easily. When I finally got the ring on and tightened, I still had a leak. But, now it was from the faucet at the top, not the bottom as before.I DID use the provided spring and rubber cup but finally re-installed the "old" valve. The locking ring started and tightened easily now. No leaks! So, my guess is that the spring and rubber cup replacement was all that was needed, not a new valve. Maybe a different brand with the same part number would be okay. But, as we all have learned, a number of items are all produced by the same manufacturer, just "branded" differently.
