I ordered this for our pet mice. All recuse and top was scratched up. It was supposed to be wrapped for protection. I returned for replacement. The replacement had the same issues. All scratched up. I wanted this but can’t see clearly because of all the scratches. Looked used

I honestly rarely write reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. Especially after seeing all the poor reviews.Honestly for only $26, this is an outstanding cage. People keep writing how flimsy it is, or how it’s full of scratches. That is because those people did not follow the instructions. This cage is clear as crystal and surprisingly sturdy.Please note: This cage is very small. Great “temporary” shelter for a DWARF HAMSTER ONLY! Cannot stress this enough. It is a tiny home for a tiny pet.Also, there is an Instruction Video on the product’s page. GAME CHANGER. Make sure to watch it. Makes the installation so easy.Anyways, ignore the bad reviews. This cage is good for what you are paying for. Zero complaints.

I caught a mouse using my own engineering and saved its life before it almost drowned. Kept it in a sealed basket for a week before I bought this. COOLEST upgrade ever! Keep in mind he’s a wild mouse so he’s always on 10 and is always looking to escape. He was chewing away at the old basket but there was no way he could chew through this. However, after several days, this morning I woke up to him missing… Spent the ENTIRE day flipping my room and chasing him. A WILD MOUSE/RAT!!! Lost story short I accidentally killed him… All because they designed this habitat with slits that were just a little bit too big… I have no idea how it fit through there but it did and I’m so upset :(. Really cool habitat though. Would recommend just modify as needed with extra precautions lol

Terrible instructions. Poor quality. Is not clear plastic....is more like foggy plastic so is hard to see in. Bought to put a mouse in I was hoping to capture humanely..not kill. Release when we have warmer weather. Well Feivel the Mouse went into the trap. I was able to get him into the plastic cage. Was running a round and around and poof see his tail as he went behind the stove. There are small rectangles for air. Must have flattened his body and off he went.

This worked out perfect for my new pet . The design is just so that they're able to adventure a bit and be safe in the confines of the new home. Packaging was just enough to ensure that none of the items were damages and to reduce the amount of space the unit occupied. Great design idea. I like that I can add sections later on if I need to.

You need to be careful when handling this cage. My 4 year old daughter dropped it from about 3 feet of the ground and the top lid tabs broke. I was able to JB weld a piece of a steel hanger to it and now it is secure. The nut on the securing latch comes loose everytime you open and close it, which eventually make the nut fall off. I used some plastic JB weld to secure the nut in place. The hamster wheel is solid, and I found out that hamsters love to urinate when they are on the wheel. Needless to say, it get dirty fast. I have to clean it twice a week.
