I was so excited when I opened this to inspect it before giving it away and have nothing but the most respect for thos who sacrificed and this gift will just show a little appreciation. My company purchased these to give to any customers that are Veterans or even when I notice a Military license plate in front of me at the red light. Every Veteran I've given one to, ESPECIALLY the Senior Veterans were HUMBLEY THANKFUL! Always a WARM FERL GOOD when you see their faces of surprise when a STRANGER knocks on their car windows merely to THANK THEM FOR THEIR SERVICE at a red light! Have bought dozens and will continúe buying BECAUSE being a Veteran SUCH AS MYSELF its such a nice feeling to be appreciated for our sacrafices. PEOPLE do not understand that when we sign up, we're basically giving a blank check of our LIVES to support and DEFEND this country for others to be able to have the lives of FREEDOM that sooooooo MANY take for granted.

Purchased 2 of them. I made a display for my new daughter in-law's father.Who served in the Air Force. I had some old rustic country maple and some ambrosia maple and made a display.Took a forstner bit & drilled 2 partial holes. As you can see in the Amazon adThere is an Eagle on one side & words on the other side. That's why I got 2 coins. I glued each coin in each partial hole of the display. And put a semi gloss finish over everything.Gave to her, to give to him for his service.

Perfect gift for my father who is a Veteran. It came in a hard plastic case to keep it protected.
