Q: Would this be suitable for repairing small holes in tops (think holes created by button on jeans) or could you suggest something ?

I don't think this will do the job

Q: Is this light weight enough to iron on inside of t-Shirt to prevent embroidery from scratching without changing the ‘softness’ of the material?

I have found that even the lightest fusible by its very nature will alter the softness of the material t-shirts are made from. I look forward to an expert finding the answer!

I think this is quite light to support t-shirt fabric. Stretch interfacing would be better, or our soft handle medium interfacing.

I would think so. It's really good quality lining.
