I find as a baseball coach, sometimes it's just me. There isn't anyone else to rely on. This board makes that easy, you can put your line up on it and the kids can see where they are in the batting order and what position they are playing, right from the dugout. It also gives them a visual of where they are located on the field. This board was perfect for Minor league baseball!

Used this for our first game recently and it was great!

Update: The seller reached out to me with this message, "We’d like to address any issues or concerns you have. Your satisfaction is important so please contact us by replying to this email and we’ll work to resolve your issues." So I did, in fact, contact them back and apologized that I had to give it such a poor rating but since it was broken, I couldn't use it. They immediately responded and asked if they could replace it. I said absolutely because I really wanted to try it and that I would've been more than happy to pay for it, but they politely refused and apologized for the inconvenience. I suggested that perhaps part of the reason it arrives broken is because there is no extra padding when it is placed in the box with other Amazon items. Nonetheless, mine arrived with extra bubble wrap :)So onto the new review of the unbroken board. We actually used this board in a tournament this past weekend and it did great! Even in the dugout with ten 11-12 year old boys, it came out unscathed. The hook is strong and the board substantial. It made transit to and from the game without issues as well.I did take off one star because I wish it had come with a way to do the names without dry erase. I used dry erase and it smudged but the boys were still able to read the batting order, so it was fine. I think that this week I will be laminating names and attaching to the board with Velcro dots so that they won't smudge, but also so that it's easier to change the batting line up. Overall, I am very satisfied and cannot say enough good things about a seller that stands behind their product.Original: I wanted this board to be a winner so badly, but unfortunately, it came with the bottom corner already broken. Didn’t give me a lot of confidence about it holding up in a dugout with rough boys or even in transit to the game if it was tossed around. I returned it.

It’s sturdier than I was expecting which is great! Nothing to complain about. Been using it for adult softball league!!

This dry erase board is perfect for any age group in the dugout. I love how it has the diamond at the top to allow me to put my players in their actual positions on the field. When I'm with the young ones, the player you tell to play 2nd base usually goes to stand on the base. Now they can see exactly where you need them. The lineup area is roomy with enough space to allow for any dry erase marker to easily write in. And lastly the board wipes clean really easily with a dry erase marker. Super great product, with a great price point. Would recommend!

This board has a good layout with all the things you need to set your lineup, but it's not the best dry erase surface. Some pens had trouble writing on it, and it was not the easiest to erase cleanly. I can only imagine that will get worse over time, so I'm not too happy with that. Still - it does the job and I was able to clean it off with some dry-erase cleaner, but I would like it to be a little easier to write and erase on.

Sturdy board. Does not erase well; suggest buying dry erase remover spray to keep it clean after each use.

This is essential equipment for a coach of young kids. Avoids that ever so annoying, Can I go here? Where am I playing? What's the batting order? String of kid questions that never stop.EDIT: 2021 I'm on my 3rd one of these now. I use them up until they get wrecked or lost and buy a new one. I won't coach without them. My only minimal concerns are that the hole tears out and I have now taken to super gluing a washer on for reinforcement and also the clip wears out and I buy a hardware store clip to replace it.
