Very sturdy and half the cost of one with wooden slats
Very sturdy and half the cost of one with wooden slats I am going to buy hollow plastic tubing and put wooden dowelling in side to ensure sturdiness. Very pleased - going to look on YouTube for information on assembly it is going in the utility room and need to measure distance between “end” pieces then it will be in use every time we have rain.

Generally good purchase
Dowling holes a little tight. Might have preferred a little wider

Great thing
I have wanted one of these for a while now, and treated myself. Its just like the one I remember in Mums Kitchen some 50 years ago when I was a wee boy. Takes up no room for indoor drying of clothes, but you do not just have to hang clothes on it, could be for pans hanging on hooks for example. You do have to make or buy your own slats. that is fairly easy and it looks great. I am very happy with my purchase.

Buy one with the dowels. Can't find woid to fit anywhere!
Haven't fitted it as I thought it would be cheaper to buy the wood slats/ dowels from a diy centre, nope, can't find wood the right shape or size to fit! My advice pay more and get the one that included the wood.

Spot on!
Just what I was after, although they should share a better video of how to thread the rope to make it rise and fall correctly as this is crucial. Had to trawl the internet for another video which explained it better.

Odd numbers of slats don't work
With an odd number of slat holes one has to omit the central slat as it interferes with the pully cord
