Good Solid Power Supply
I’ve been using the MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 for a few weeks now, and so far, it’s been a solid performer. It supports PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 standards, which is useful if you're planning to run newer GPUs that require the 12VHPWR connector. Having that built-in is definitely convenient. The build quality is good, and the modular design makes cable management easier. The included cables are decent quality and long enough for most mid- to full-tower builds. It's also quiet — the fan rarely spins up to noticeable levels, even during gaming or heavier workloads.Efficiency is in line with its 80 PLUS Gold rating, and I haven’t experienced any stability issues so far. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but for those wanting a bit of future-proofing, it’s a good solid option, I bought another one for my second rig.Overall, it's a dependable power supply that does what it claims without fuss. Not flashy, but gets the job done.

Good price, quiet psu.
Placed the order and then read allmthe 1 star reviews which made my bit anxious. Thankfully the unit I received was fine with noise and worked. I'll be honest I had a misconfigured cpu fan that was noisy and I assumed it was the PSU and contemplated sending it back. But I found the cause and it was perfect. This PSU is nearly silent for me. I'm not a gamer so my power draw is around 200W. So it doesn't really put demands on the PSU at all - hence the quietness. My only gripes is the cable flimsyness. The cables were very soft and limp, makes routing nice and easy but I'm used to having muxh stronger more rigid cables in PSU which makes me question how durable this system us made. Only the ATX 24 cable is shrouded, everything else are just coupled together with zip ties which screams budget spec. But that's reflected in the price I suppose £50 is not a lot of money for a PSU these days.

Easy and brilliant.
I purchased this PSU as a replacement/upgrade for my current PSU, which had started to fault so I was having random blue screens. I was suggested by a friend to go for an MSI PSU as he had one that has been functioning great for 2+ years, high load usage every day. Shipping was quick, boxing was secure and snug to ensure no damage during transport, very pleased with, easy to mount, the connectors were very easy to understand and to use. The PSU is almost zero noise at all, it has a zero rpm mode so that the fan doesn't work during low usage. So far, I've been playing games that would cause my previous PSU (not MSI) to fault and restart itself, making it annoying for competitive gameplay, functionality is great and works wonders.

Power Supply Review (First time building a pc)
My favourite aspect of the product is the reliability and ease of use.I chose this product because MSI has a good reputation and when it comes to something as important as a power supply for my pc, I thought that the better reputation the better. This product currently fulfills my needs and more as it enables me to buy a new and better GPU when I choose to upgrade. It's also very quiet compared to my previous power supply which is very nice to have. The strength of this power supply is the power wattage being very high, the fan speed is exactly what I need it to be and the whole thing is very sturdy. The only issue I have with it as a new pc builder is the sheer amount of cables needed is a bit overwhelming but the support offered is very good.

Great build quality for a great price
I got this PSU because MSI is a brand I trust. I’ve used MSI parts for around 20 years and they have never let me down. I find the build quality is always great and well packaged so the items get to you un-damaged.ProsGreat cable quality and everything you need for your builds.Silent switch on the PSU so if your PC is idle and the PSU is cool the fan will switch off.Nice design on the side of the PSU so if you have a case where you can see the PSU then you are not just looking at a black box.A choice of 12v GPU cables.ConsThe SATA power cables are a bit too long for my build so I did have to tuck them in a bit more than I would have liked.Over all this PSU has been a great addition to my all MSI build and will deliver the power I need to run my PC and give me some headroom if I want to add more drives, upgrade my GPU or over clock my system. At £109.99 I personally feel it’s an amazing price and with a 10 year warranty over the 7 year you get with the MAG PSU for an extra £10 I feel it’s a no brainer

Reasonable choice for the budget, 850W enough power for most systems, good support.
Good value, efficient modular power supply. Enough power for a PC upgrade and quiet operation with the fan.Supplied with a 12V2x6 native port on the PSU side, would be a little more convenient with standard connectors that could be used for additional PCIe power cables but there are enough standard ports for 1 GPU at least.I previously purchased the 650W version of the same PSU which arrived with a dead SATA cable but MSI customer support immediately sent out a new cable kit, and it's worked perfectly for the 2 years since, so customer support should be good if you do have an issue.

Good power supply
Easy to connect and comes with all relevant cables, more than enough power for most builds. Fan virtually silent on the power supply especially if paired with quiet case fans.A strong point is the PCIe 5.0 support, which works perfectly with my 5070 . No need for extra adapters, the included cable fits right in and powers the GPU without any issues.Overall the Power supply feels and performs at a high quality and i would definitely recommend this product.

A great budget PSU
It’s very reliable. It is able to power my pc without much struggle.i9-9900KRTX 2070People complained about it being too loud but from my experience, it is perfectly fine. I only hear it when I try to listen to it. It’s a non modular psu so of course there is a lot of cables to deal with. But I just zip tied the cables that I do not need so it wasn’t a horrible mess.
