I've been purchasing Oneida Aptitude flatware for a number of years because I like the heavy weight and sturdiness. Unlike a lot of thinner flatware, these utensils won't bend when you're scooping something heavy and thick, like hard ice cream.Like all or most flatware in this category, they're 18/0 stainless/nickel, which means they will experience some staining over time. I don't mind and I like these a lot, but if you have high standards of quality and are looking for forever flatware, you should plan on spending a lot more and shop in person for 18/10 stainless/nickel utensils.I purchased the rest of my Aptitude pieces in brick and mortar stores a few years ago, but bought this 6 pack of teaspoons from Amazon because I needed a few more spoons. The ones from Amazon did have a few minor scratches that weren't present in the ones I got from brick and mortar stores. I suspect it's due to the exposed packaging that is used on these pieces. Maybe they got jostled around more in storage or by Amazon's robots, or something. I don't notice the little scratches unless I look, but if this is something that is important to you, you might want to think twice about where you purchase them from.Overall a very sturdy utensil. Not at all fancy, but practical, usable and strong.

We bought these to replace some lost pieces of our Oneida Aptitude set. They are a perfect match to our existing pieces. Some people have complained of them being scratched on arrival, ours were zip ties to a cardboard backer and arrived in perfect condition. We have owned our set for several years now and they are still in great condition, expect them to last many more years.

The soup spoons were shorter and shallower than expected. Unfortunately, I’ll be returning them.

Good deal and nice solid spoons. If you are like me and have a toddler whos secretly throwing away your spoons and you need replacements; this ones actually good quality. i do recommend.
