I guess! They're chopped sea clams in juice. I only use these clams in a quick white clam sauce (garlic, white wine, parsley) over pasta. They do need to be cooked as in heated up in a pan with butter/olive oil, but I guess you could use them in other ways. I used to use canned baby clams for this dish, but most of them come from Southeast Asia from questionable water. These clams come from clean waters in Maine.

Q: Are these raw or cooked?

They are fully cooked in the Bar Harbor facility.

Q: Are these dry clams? Or ‘wet’, as in, have they been soaked in sodium tripolyphosphate?

They are packed in something wet. But whether dry or wet, do NOT order this product. Unless you enjoy chewing rubber bands. I ordered 12 cans and after making one batch of chowder, got rid of the rest.
