I bought Tefal Actifry in January and was bought a hardback book of recipes to go with it. There are few recipes I felt I could do so did some research and found this little paperback had good reviews. Took a chance and bought it for a good second-hand price and am delighted. Not only are the recipes simple to prepare with easy to source items, they are straightforward and tasty. Just wish there was a second book with more recipes but it has given me 'food for thought'.

A good recipe book with some great recipes and more important it's all in UK measurements and not the USA.

It’s a reasonable enough book with some nice recipes in. I’m looking forward to trying them out.Unfortunately the book itself is a little underwhelming. Very thin low grade paper - almost like it’s been photocopied. I don’t reckon it’ll stand up to much wear and tear in the kitchen. I was expecting it to be larger too. It’s rather on the small side.I may have rated it higher if it was cheaper. £4.99 is a bit steep for this quality when you can probably just google most of the recipes.

I do like this little book BUT there are no pictures to show what the prepared food should look like. But it was cheap.

I flipping love my Actifry! Very probably a late convert - only got it this year, but use it for stir frys, chips, southern style chicken, and best of all....? Salt and Pepper Tofu - because it is air dried/fried the tofu doesn't go slimy, but develops a lovely, crisp crust on the outside, while staying soft and velvety on the inside. For chips/fries for 4, I use a potato each, and then 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. This book encouraged me to move away from using the Actifry as 'just' a chip pan - I think I've tried about 75% of the recipes, some have become firm favourites. Be aware that this is a 'slim' book - not a great many pages or recipes, but a good start.

Useful kitchen tool.

Although the Tefal Actifry comes with a recipe book, I wanted more recipes,so I bought this one. I am so glad I did. I have had the book for a couple of months and cooked a lot of the recipes. For starters, the book is an idle size to pop into a handbag so that you can use it in the shop to refer to the ingredients you need. The recipes are simple to make and so quick. For those in the Slimmers World programme, these recipes are idle. You can use olive oil, sunflower oil or even the Fry Light One Cal Spray or a combination of both. I greatly recommend this book.

I'm always wary of cook books being overly complex or needing ingredients you have to fetch from the summit of a mountain in Kenya.This book is straightforward, simple, very easy to follow and uses ingredients most people will have at home.The recipes are great with really short prep and cook times.There is a great variety of recipes too, catering for all tastes including vegetarian/vegan options.I honestly cannot recommend this book highly enough.
