Can Fintech deliver a superior Customer Experience?
An outstanding crowd sourced book on Fintech. I've spent many mornings and evenings on the Tube (London underground) reading the book cover to cover and from time to time looking up to see an advertisement on p-2-p finance (the ads now make more sense). The broad range of topics and authors offers a deep insight into a new and rapidly developing sector. I have two criticisms, firstly block chain and bitcoin remain a mystery to me. Authors either covered it at a very high level or alternatively it was far too technical. My second is all articles were from industry insiders, there were no "voice of the customer" chapters. Many authors touched on the potential for customer experience improvement, however I missed why the average banking customer should sit up and take note. Financial Services is hardly a riveting dinner topic among non-financial types, however it could be. But it will take a "real" focus on the needs of customers and a driving purpose of enhancing lives, rather than money making machines. There is a reason that banks' reputations and trust levels have nosed dived. To rebuild customer trust in Financial Services the priority will need to be on customer experience. Can Fintechs deliver?

My expectations were slightly higher
It seems a book to advertise specific companies operating within the FinTech Environment. Not very informative and a bit repetitive.Nothing about payment trends in specific country-markets that can make the readers thinking that the emerging payments and the FinTech companies are really threatening the obsolete infrastructure of the payment and banking sector. Just a bit around payment security. Tokenization importance is missing.I was hoping to find a better explanation around API and Blockchain, perhaps through case studies.Overall, it might be worthy to read it in order to know the actual situation of the FinTech environment and its actors.3 stars are sufficient.

Does not say much
The book is a collection of very short articles written by different authors(2-4 pages each) on different applications of fintech. Overall it is all very basic and it is way too fragmented.

21 Fake 5-star "reviews" created on the same day Apr 1st, 2016
If this book is so great, why create 21 fake 5-star reviews? None of them are verified purchases and each "reviewer" has only ever done ONE review - this book! Each so-called "review" is one single line/sentence. All 21 reviews are dated April 1st, 2016. Since the book's author and/or publisher have so little faith in the book - why would anyone buy it? Disgusting!

Great book but ANNOYING to read!
Great book for somebody trying to enter the FinTech industry or anybody who has an interest. Gives a holistic and insightful overview of trends and key points in the industry. However, the book is very difficult to read while sat on the sofa or in bed because it’s so wide with 2 columns to each page. Seems like a petty point, but makes it very uncomfortable to navigate page to page.
