I bought this mattress during the Black Friday sale. The price was incredible!! Naturally, at that price, I had some concerns about the quality of this mattress. I read the reviews, especially the one from a person with Fibromyalgia, like me. That review is what tipped the scales in favor of the purchase.The shipping of this mattress was super fast!! It came much sooner than was quoted at the time of purchase…days sooner! It comes in a box that is definitely smaller than one would expect. In other words, the box is nowhere near regular mattress sized. Upon opening to box, you can see that the mattress is compressed with all the air suctioned out of it, and wrapped in a super thick plastic. It’s compressed and rolled up to fit into the relatively slim box. Now, the box IS heavy…don’t get me wrong, but slim. That made it easier to move upstairs to my bedroom. However, there was no way I could have moved it by myself. I had to have my adult children help me with it. We all worked together to pull it out of the box, pulling from opposite ends to slide it out. Once we did that, I had them place the rolled up mattress on the bed so that when we opened the packaging, it would already be in place and lessen our burden. That worked perfectly. We carefully trimmed open the plastic, peeled it off, and like a miracle, this mattress fluffs up to normal size!! It’s amazing to see!!When I slept on my old mattress, I would wake up in such pain. However, after my VERY FIRST NIGHT on this new mattress, I WOKE UP PAIN-FREE!!!!!!!!!What an incredible night’s sleep I had!!! This mattress is not firm, but it’s not soft either. It’s supportive yet it conforms to the contours of my body. It allows my body to be hugged but not to sink, if that makes sense. I no longer wake up in pain and I love that. As a fibromyalgia patient, I already have sleep disturbances and pain to contend with. I was fed up with waking up and starting my day in pain everyday, only to experience more pain and crippling fatigue later on. This mattress starts my day off right! No more more pain, and if I wake up in the middle of the night, it’s comfortable enough to help me go back to sleep fast. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! THIS MATTRESS IS A WINNER IN MY BOOK!! I would recommend it to anyone. I definitely would love to buy more for my other bedrooms.I know that a mattress is an investment. A mattress purchase is a very personal experience, so I understand the concern. If you’re worried about buying a mattress online and are hesitant, let me tell you, don’t hesitate to buy this one!! I am so glad that I took the chance, and that I get to sleep on a mattress as comfortable as this one every night. I am equally glad that I got this little bit of luxury at such an amazing price!!! I feel like I won the jackpot all the way around…

I slept on this mattress when I stayed at an AirBnb. I noticed after 2 nights I'd had better sleep and less back aches in the morning. After I got the information on it, I went to a local store where they had all three of the styles on display and I tried them all, and a few others. But this was still the best. My husband is a back sleeper, I'm a side sleeper. I did my research and this style is the best, having the softness level in the middle. They were selling it for twice the price and charging for delivery. So I found this site online and ordered it. I was skeptical because the price was lower and no shipping and it came rolled up. They were wonderful and answered my questions within 12 hours, so I ordered it. It is exactly the same mattress I slept on during my vacation. It arrived in 3 days. It was easy to unpack and unroll. It is super comfortable, just the right softness and support. No more tossing and turning. My husband sleeps better, without moving a muscle all night. I highly recommend the mattress and the company I ordered it from.

Many mattresses are not labeled as to what grade of softness they are on the common scale of 5 (hard - hard to med - medium - medium to soft - very soft [sometimes called "plush"]. I was hoping to get a "plush" as it was labeled. Nobody can really tell what the difference of soft and plush is in the matter of mattresses ( I read many blogs). Anyway, it is a good mattress, but it did cause us shoulder and some hip pain - so we decided to return it and look for something better[softer, or "plusher"]. For those who prefer it a bit harder "with more support" it may be a very good choice, and a good deal for that money.Side Note: It came rolled up [compressed]; without a factory warehouse utility tool it can hardly be compressed again. I wrapped it up carefully in heavy duty plastic sheeting. UPS refused the return delivery, could not specify how they would accept it, if maybe differently packaged(?) So Amazon support courteously refunded me and asked to take care of it, dispose or donate it. Ok, I'll find a charity which can make good use of it.So, think twice on ordering a [compressed] mattress. Amazon may or may not necessarily refund all the "impossible returns".

EDIT: Mattress is dreadful. Currently a year in trying to find a suitable replacement. Have regrets!!! Difficult to purchase a mattress online. I looked at every review, every picture. Every place I could go to buy online, I went! It was a several month process. Ultimately I got this one on Prime Day because of the price and other reviews. It’s been a few months of use. I think it’s too firm, husband thinks it isn’t firm enough. I will likely purchase a mattress topper to make it a bit more comfortable, but I’m still deciding. A few of the other reviews mention a smell, while I can say there was definitely an odor when initially unpacked, it quickly went away. After removing all the plastic from the room/ house I’d say the smell was 70% gone already. Took shape fast! Although we did wait to sit/lay on it for 5 or so hours. I was pretty impressed they could fit it into the box. I don’t notice my hubs moving in the night but he says he can feel when I do (whiner). We have a combined total weight of 390ish pounds. That’s him, me and the giant lap dog, so far it hasn’t presented any issues. We replaced a 7year old Tuft & Needle with this, I’m not sure I’ll opt for inner springs again in future but it works for now.
