Love this
It’s great but be aware you have to get new bolts etc these ones included is crap. Wood is really soft and one of my arms has broke by bolt. Hoping glue will help.

More like zero stars
Extremely difficult to put together as the screw holes aren't bored through properly and the legs don't properly fit into the feet. It's very low quality and even covered in loose splinters. It does not at all hold the fabric steady, the screws cannot be tightened enough to stop it from losing tension as soon as you begin to sew.I've managed to rig up the piece I'm currently working on with duct tape, but it still doesn't work properly and this isn't great for the fabric. I'll be buying something else to replace it.Don't be tempted to waste your money just because the price is reduced - it looks like it cost about 2p to make and, as another reviewer has said, is just about fit to be firewood. Wish I had read that before making my purchase but I was in a rush and desperate - and looks like I still am.

Does the job!
This was easy to put together, except there was no indication where the washers went - not enough supplied for all the bolts. I found it more difficult than I expected to get the canvas into the slots in the round bars. Once I got further up the tapestry so I could roll it up round the bottom bar, it was better, but to start with it keep slipping out one end - I could not tighten the nut enough to hold it. After a while I took the legs off as I did not have a table at the right height to put it on, but if you have, the legs are useful as your dont need to hold the frame, and so have both hands free. I ordered this one as it was prime and I needed it quickly. On the whole I am pleased. Good for the money.

Great frame
Okay first of all the frame is great been looking for a frame that’s suitable for sofa & I found this one greatBut the screws that come with this frame are rubbish they do not tighten up or anything so ended up buying some other ones to replaceWhich have worked how they shouldApart from that it does the job & I can now sit comfortable on sofa doing what I love

Great item but flimsy fixings
This is exactly what I was looking for and is perfect for cross stitch. The only down side is the fixings. The wing nuts wouldn't tighten and when I got normal nuts, they didn't fit the books so I've had to replace the fixings to make it sturdy enough to use. Ok for the price but could be better.

Love the idea of it, but poor quality.
Knowing what I know now, I would have not bought this item. I like the idea, and I understand that it’s relatively cheap- but it still costs enough for it to have been a ‘treat’ item for me.It turned up missing 1 of the 8 wingnuts that should have been with it. Only 3 of the wingnuts provided actually tightened at all and the rest just spun uselessly- I have ended up going and buying more from a local DIY shop, who looked at the example I took and told me that the quality of those provided were extremely poor (actually he said something much ruder, but I won’t write it here!).The instructions for putting it all together comprises one single poor line drawing. It’s not terribly hard to figure out, but obviously it didn’t bode well.Buying the additional screws and nuts has made it vastly more useable, but it still lacks some tension.I’ve managed to make the best of it, but wouldn’t recommend it, I was very disappointed.

Sturdy frame
While the directions aren't the best (more pictures would be helpful), the assembly itself is easy but the directions can be misleading. For me the most difficult part was that I hadn't used scroll bars before and was trying to have both bars rotating the same way and it would just pull the fabric out. Looked up a picture on the company's website and figured it outVery lightweight and sturdy, movable (portable) to different areas of the house

Good quality frame
Ideal for a large cross stitch, makes it so much more comfortable and easy and doesn't leave creases like a hoop. Assembly instructions could have been clearer but it's easy to figure it out on your own. I would definitely recommend this frame
