The compass works as expected and is great value
The first compass had the red needle pointing south. ( I imagine it’s easy to make this mistake as the magnetic North Pole is actually magnetic south so magnet and compass manufacturers have to get that right when marking them...)Contacted gift geeks and they sent a replacement straight away.Works as expected - and great value.

Not Great, Sadly
Unfortunately, this compass doesn't work that well. It takes ages for the needle to move in the right direction, and it often stops while pointing the wrong way.

Nice little item
Bought to go in a 7 year olds Den Kit , so he doesn't use it for real. It looks fine and it works but I don't know how reliable it is.

Ok, but somewhat weak
I had purchased another compass previously that was very good, but this one seems pretty weak. Not sure if it has lost some of its strength in transit, as I think it came from China.
