Very good
A really nice pen for what seems like a bargain price. Looks nice; writes well. Got some very good value refills at the same time. Good product; excellent price.

Do not expect pen to arrive in any Parker Packaging
The pen arrived in a jiffy bag on its own, with no usual Parker, or any form of packaging. Good job I wasn't buying it for someone else, especially after 4 or 5 light uses, ie, literally a few short notes, the ink has faded. So it requires a new cartridge. Does this mean that the pen - advertised as "New" and (misleadingly) displayed in Parker packaging - is actually second-hand??? I am really not sure I would return to buy anything more from this seller.

I had a wonderful surprise
Whenever I buy a pen it is a Parker. It has been so since the seventies when I began keeping a diary and wanted a great pen do write in it. Ever since then I buy them and most often than not it is the Jotter, the workhorse and I use them for everything. Before buying this pen I asked the seller where it was made, he answered in France - good enough for me I ordered it along with a Stainless Steel one with gold clip and a red refill. They arrived within 2 days and were well packaged, the Stainless Steel one was indeed made in France as was the red refill but the red Jotter was to my great surprise made in the UK.The pen itself is superb for the price, reliable, comfortable and basically bullet-proof. I would never use anything other than a Parker, even for the most mundane of writing tasks and I am sure anyone wanting to buy a decent pen that will feel good, write nice and last forever cannot go wrong getting one of these.Just a note on why it is important to know where it was made. When the factory that made them in the UK closed and proper Parker production moved to France the quality remained the same, however when Parker pens became made under license in India (by Luxor), inferior quality and weight and not actually to be sold outside of that market, the market became flooded with them and it was hard to know where the item I intended to buy came from unless it states in the item description. If it is not I always ask the question as to its origin.

Good Pen, but not as good as the original UK version
I was torn between giving this pen 4 or 5 stars. Yes, It's a fine pen and made in France rather than the cheaper Far East Parker pens..... However when I compare it to my original Parker Jotter pen, then it does not compare. The Main difference is the button, in that it feels a lot flimsier than the original and does not feel the same quality. Also as a minor point, my original jotter pen had the Parker logo on top of the button, where this one is plain and slightly rounded. Having said all that, it does write very well and the price was excellent, so I would recommend the purchase.

Writes smoothly
I bought this as I am fed up having to scribble a pen first to make sure it works before embarking on writing anything properly. tI dows the job perfectly and I am lost when I don't have it to hand.

Nice but switcher doesn't work
The pen looks great and writes well however the mechanism of switching always gets stuck.

This pen feels lovely to hold and to use. The cartridge supplied with it is blue medium - I always use blue fine - so I will replace the cartridge when it runs out. The red barrel is a cheerful colour.
