Great.

I use it for sacks of dry dog food and it’s ideal for me. Big and sturdy and blends into my kitchen better than white. (I have black/chrome ‘white’ goods). Being on wheels comes in very handy. The only downside is the clasps to keep it shut - the small one is so stiff I don't use it, and the large one, whilst it clicks in well, opens easily enough that my greedy Labrador has learnt how to open it himself! I would still totally recommend it and would definitely buy again.

We bought this to beat the mice and it has proved a good solution. Good design ensures reduced footprint. Very good capacity and easily accommodates 15 kg sack of dried food. Two wheels are fixed at the rear which is handy for easy manoeuvrability. Have only given 4 stars as it's durability has yet to be proved. The smaller inset lid appears bit flimsy so we've been using the main lid, this is a shame as this would have otherwise been a 5 star purchase.

I didn't want to spend this amount of money on a dog food bin. Cost more than the food I wanted to store in it!!I'd previously used a pedal bin and just emptied food out the bag directly into it. With 6 dogs the lack of an air tight seal wasnt too important as 15kg didn't last long! But, I had to wash out every time, and dry THOROUGHLY, before emptying a new bag in ... you DO know that if you empty dog food into the same container without washing that the build up of oil can cause health issues, don't you? 🙂Fed up with waiting for a container to dry, I searched for one I could just dump the food bag straight into. I ordered one but had to return it as far smaller than stated. Hence arriving at this storage bin.I am seriously pleased. It looks good in my kitchen. I have it under a work counter so the wheels make it a doddle to open up. I can dump my 15kg bag of food straight into it, in the bag. I'm pretty sure it would hold a full, 18kg bag of food too (keeping in the bag) as I've put partial bags in, on top of my 15kg bag.I DO NOT recommend just emptying the contents straight into the bin. Far healthier to keep the food in the bag it's sold in and with this bin ... it will easily fit. Wish I'd found it years ago.

Brilliant. Bought to replace a plastic version by the same manufacturer which gave up after 8 years after I fell in it and broke the lid. Hope this one lasts as long. Believe it should. Its perfect for dog food as the lid opens full to fill and then there is a smaller access lid with scoop to get to the food easily. Says it takes 20l. However I've managed to get 23l+ in.

We have wanted to find a good container capable of storing a big 15kg bag of dog food neatly and cleanly for some time, and this looked just the job, but the reality was not up to the expectation.Although cleverly designed to look like metal (and it looks good in the pictures in particular) it is a very lightweight and cheap feeling plastic. Although well packaged, ours arrived badly scratched to the plastic which is not very robust.A clever design with air seals and a food scoop clipped in to the underside of the lid is again let down by the material this is made of - the very rigid (and again cheap and flimsy feeling) plastic makes it difficult to clip/unclip and we did not feel this would last long at all in routine daily use.Overall this feels more like a £10 item not up to the Curver brand name or the £40 cost; as ours arrived already scratched we returned it for a refund and will now look elsewhere. We were very disappointed and would suggest that if you are considering this you shop for it on the high street where you can try before you buy to make sure you are happy with the build quality.

I like the steel metal: needs to be robust to survive the inquisitiveness and strength of my 2 dogs. The 2 back wheels make it much easier to move the bin around. The inside is plastic but one cannot put biodegradable bags inside to keep it clean. The main lid snaps shut until the bin needs refilling. A further lid with a scoop is meant to allow daily access this also snaps shut to keep contents fresh. The workings of this food bin are well planned to allow the process of feeding your pets much easier. I do not like the price 40 sterling pounds, it is outrageously expensive commission built within the price for another's idea. I Needed a solution and this is it! Recommended.
