They have good texture and okay/good taste. Useful ingredient to enhance your noodle soup dishes

Let them stay in water to rehydrate them and gain texture.

Great in a hot-pot
Ended up having these mushrooms in a Japanese-style hot pot with a handful of friends and they tasted SOO good, even my picky-eating friends agreed! We rehydrated them over a few hours then added them to the boiling broth and they absorbed the flavour so well. Would 100% recommend them.

Flavouring.
I don't actually eat these as I don't like the rubbery texture,but even one is great for flavouring,especially stock.

I'm vegan so this was blended for vegan mince. Gave the 'mince" more flavour with all the goodness and health benefits of shitake mushrooms .

Ordered 2 packs. Got one porcini got one shitake.
OK dried mushrooms but I ordered 2 packs shitake got one pack shitake and one pack porcini. Whole mushrooms so not many in a pack and more rubbery than fully dried.
