Once opened it took our six year old son just over an hour to uncover all the bones and make a lot of mess in doing so. Once you've got all the bones out of the plaster (and got the hoover out!) you need to wipe them down to get any remaining plaster off before you put everything together.The model looks really good put together and doesn't come apart easily. He still goes back to it several weeks after doing the 'dig' so it was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

This was a great buy, enjoyed thoroughly on Christmas morning by 6 year-old. Messy fun but nevermind. A few facts about the mammoth came with it, basic but ok for young child. A one-use toy, left with a display mammoth skeleton after digging up and assembling the bones. A

Excellent gift for my nephew - he was kept amused for hours, and the resulting skeleton looked exactly as it does on the box. A bit messy but some newspaper and a tray kept it reasonably tidy.

"All we need is just a little patience" as it takes time to get to the "bones", but I loved it!

Gostei muito. Comprei de presente para o meu neto e ele adorou. Principalmente o trabalho de escavação para descobrir o esqueleto do Mamute. Leva um tempinho para a a criança aprender todo o método de escavação, os pais podem ajudar. Vem com uma serra e martelo plásticos para ajudar.

My 4 year old loved this but I had to do most of the digging.Woolly mammoth pieces stayed together well once assembled.
