Nice for the money, but assembly required.
I looked around for some file cabinet storage combos for our new office and most where well over $1,000 a piece until I stumbled on these here on Amazon. The price was very reasonable and so was the shipping but no reviews so I decided to take a chance and ordered two. The both arrived quickly and were well packaged, only one had a small blem on the top right corner of one panel but it’s nothing anyone would notice. The only downside is that these ship unassembled. It took me about and hour and a half to do the first one and second went much quicker (less then an hour). The metal on these is fairly thin but when assembled seem fairly sturdy. Overall I’m very happy with them and they look great in the office. Only thing is I wish they were slightly wider as most of the other cabinets I looked at where roughly 4-6” wider so these seem to be narrower then the standard size.

I didn't assemble it; the help did. It came out nicely and serves its purpose in the home office.

Well worth the savings
I was looking at similar filing cabinets for weeks before I finally decided to take the plunge with this one. The other reviews are not wrong - it is a lot to put together - but once it's fully constructed you're left with a very sturdy, high quality, cabinet. It definitely helped to have two people to put this together (it's pretty flimsy at first so it was helpful to have one person holding while the other screws things together until some of the cross structure pieces were added in to create the overall stability of the cabinet).Admittedly, mine came with some dents and scratches, and originally I was going to have it at the entrance to my office, so this was a problem. After reaching out to customer service, they issued me a partial refund and I decided to take some time to rearrange my office a bit so the dents and scratches on the side are now hidden from view. The front of the cabinet had no issues so it looks great and works great! We had a HON 4 drawer vertical cabinet before this and I honestly wasn't sure how much space I would lose when switching the files over, but everything ended up fitting perfectly in the bottom two drawers and then I gained the storage from the entire upper unit!I am very happy with this purchase, which overall cost me less than $400, and I am so glad I did not go with the $1,200-$1,500 alternatives that I almost purchased!

Just what I needed and I give this unit high praise.
I’m a disabled veteran senior. This cabinet stores all my medical supplies and medications. I have never been more organized and secure. The doors and drawers lock very well. Child Proof!It was I little difficult assembling this unit alone but it goes together very well. The drawer holds all my files, documents, bills etc. I added battery operated penlights so even in the dark I can find meds.If you want to get organize and secure items, this unit works extremely well.

Best customer service!
The only issue is that two parts (P) are stuck together and I cannot get them apart. This also makes all four Q pieces unusable and hanging files can't be used in the drawers. LUCKILY, customer service for this company is UNBELIEVABLY GREAT! They wrote me back very quickly, communicated with me to make sure they understood the problem, and offered a solution at no cost to me.If you need replacement parts, this company can and will provide them! That's real customer service!

Top drawer on both units don't close (or lock)
We purchased two cabinets for our school. Both top drawers on each unit do not close properly and so we're unable to lock them. It appears the preassembled slide rails were installed to high not allowing the drawers to fit in the opening.

Bum drawer
Cabinet has lots of space for storage. Pain in the the ass to assemble. Once i got it assembled correctly top drawer would not close. and it still doesn’t. Can’t pack it up to return. so i’m out $$$. And have a cabinet with good storage and a bum draw. Amazon, thank for vetting some of these subs.

excellent product
Follow the instructions that they send you and you can assemble this product easily. My wife and I are in our seventies and together we put this cabinet together. It was fun because it was an accomplishment that at the time before we began we didn't think we could do it, but it turned out beautifully. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine,
