Q: Does this work with a Canon printer please?

I would expect it will as it works with my Epson printer with no problem and the card thickness is only slightly greater than 60 gm paper. The downloadable Avery templates are quite good but line-up can be slightly out so be careful with the spine text.

Q: I have gone on to windows 7 from XP and cannot find a J8435 template. The covers are excellent in themselves. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Yes, it's going into your printer, so will work with any connected computer.

Q: does this pack come with the cd with the soft ware info or do you buy separately ?

If you use Microsoft Word and don't already have the specific template for Avery J8435-25 included within the documents templates of Word, you need to import the template from the Microsoft site. It is a free download. The only problem I have found with this printable CD case paper is that I cannot seem to import a jpeg doc into the paper without leaving a margin down one side. I just can't get it to fill the space.
