Great Gift
I bought this for a 4 year old that loves cars and puzzles. It was a hit! He loved putting together his track and then seeing the trucks run the track. Even his older brothers enjoyed playing with it. A great toy!

Hours of Fun!! But be prepared, the car won't always make it around the longer track "plans"
The media could not be loaded. We ordered this for my 6 year old for Christmas and honestly do not regret it at all! We spent HOURS playing with this. Not only following the suggested track options but he wanted to get creative and come up with ideas to create his own tracks as well. So I do LOVE this challenges his mind and keeps him off of electronics! However, even after carefully following instructions, we found that car will not always make it through the long track "plans/ideas" that book has suggested (video included). I have videos of other tracks where the car did succeed, however it will only allow me to upload one video. I included a photo showing that the 6 piece flat "track" can also be made into a 4 piece set which is sold as a separate kit, so if you are torn on which one to purchase, know that the bigger kit CAN be made smaller (and also includes more pieces for more options). We found we had the most success of the car making it through the track, if we started with marble already on the car. I helped my 6 year figure out his ideas by showing him to trace along the lines on the insert pieces to see if his planned track would work or "dead end". All in all, it was a lot of and good quality time together. It is definitely something that he is not ready to do solo at this point, but I feel it is good to help him problem solve and would recommend this product. But I will reiterate, that the car doesn't always make it through each course. We also went ahead and purchased an additional car, Incase his broke. But as of day two, the new car is still in the closet.

Difficult to maneuver and hard to get the cars to move while on the board.
It is somewhat difficult to get the cars to start (friction) when there is little space to do so. The game is somewhat intricate and a bit difficult for my grandsons. I wouldn't purchase this again or recommend it.

Amazing!
This is one of the best toys I've ever gotten for my granddaughter (age 5). She focuses better on this than about anything else we've done! We don't follow the examples in the booklet. We just make up our own tracks. It did not take her long before she was making amazingly complex tracks. Sometimes I'd look at what she was building and say, "I don't think, that's going to work... Oh, yeah, it does work!" I bought two sets to have more track pieces. I wind the car up so she doesn't overwind it. But once I set the car down, she puts her finger on top to hold it, then releases it when she's ready. A very great creative thinking/logic toy for kids. Actually, I enjoy making a track or two myself. :)

Fun challenging game for young to old!
Great for young and old! Easy to set up and learn - great for the logical mind and fun to test yourself. We had a blast as grandparents in 60s playing with our son in 30s as well as our grands 5 and 7. I didn’t really get it from the description when I bought it but just thought it would be a great game for the grands. After they igured it out and showed us how it worked then we were hooked. Great fun challenge for young, middle and old!

Great toy! Big hit with my grandson!
I bought this for my grandson, 6 years old. He loved it (as well as my 30-year old son) and they played with it for hours. Easy to understand and play, with clear diagrams for the ascending levels. The little car has a wind up motor that I can see burning out quickly, manufacturer should include instructions in box for ordering replacement car. Great deal for the price, educational, teaches many learning skills.

Needs a older level of coordination
In order to run the car it has to be charged by pulling it backwards and then pinching side buttons to hold the charge. 3 year olds may find it hard to coordinate the pinch, and the hold in order to launch the car- making the whole game useless. 4 year olds can hold the pinch, but they may also find the small game to be limited and boring very quickly.
