Well worth it!
I bought this as a sort of docking station for my surface laptop 2. I think the only thing I wish is that it extended a little longer to match the side of the surface (& that's such a minor thing that you should not let that prevent you from buying this if you are thinking about buying it!) I like that I no longer need the display port adapter.. I love that I have a USB-C port now (I suspect there's some downsides here, but having the port is what I was wanting) and 2 USB ports. The extra memory card adapters was a bonus for me. Just a great buy for me!

Works perfect didn’t have no problem installing. Wife wanted to add a extra monitor on her laptop.

HDMI stopped working after a month
I bought this because I work out of different office locations. I always kept it in the box it came in and tucked in a pocket of my laptop bag. The HDMI port stopped working after a month. I hoped it was the HDMI cord but I tried different ones and on different monitors.The Usb ports would still work, just no signal for HDMI anymore. very disappointing

A Must Have
Very glad I decided to get this and for the price I cannot be more satisfied. Only 2 things I think is a negative is that you can't use the laptops speakers while it's plugged in - which isn't a big deal - and the HDMI could be a converter - meaning instead of just being an output it could be an input as well. I'll just have to get a separate adapter for that, no biggie.

Perfect for the Surface!
Works GREAT. Wish it was slightly smaller but it does the job great. Very useful and happy with purchase. A must have if you have a Surface laptop.
