Adequate for Q Acoustic 3020 range
I found these to be just about right for my rear speakers. They're Q Acoustic 3020i's and I needed something that would just clear the rear of my seats, you'll see from my images this demonstrated with the stand and sofa. They're actually the perfect height and look great in their position.I used to have the room the opposite way around and wall mounted the rears with their official mounts but couldn't do this in the new positioning as I needed to be able to close the curtains. It was literally a case of ordering these and hoping they would be ok and I'm pleased to say they are. They're slightly wider and the speakers cannot be fixed permanently due to the Q Acoustics only allowing one front center base bolt - these have four holes which are around the edge of the seated area - but they sit well and I've used pads included down the middle of the top plates to seat them centrally into place. The weight of the speakers actually holds them firm and if I knock the stands they move together and don't tip. So they're more than secure enough to hold in my view. There's spikes which can be fixed in the base plate or you can use the rubber pads included. I'm using these for now until I get some skirts to avoid damaging the flooring but they sit firm and straight with no slanting or leaning. When first putting together it's best to not tighten each end, this will allow flexibility once a stand is together so you can then square the top with the bottom easily and lock it. When I first set one up I tightened but then the other plate was sideways slightly, don't panic, just follow above and they sit square if you don't lock tightly first. A little movement into line and then locking gives a true positioning. They took me around five minds to assemble and get into place, all the pieces were protected in the box and they're light enough but also strong enough to accommodate any speakers in my view. There's cable ties included too and these will keep the wiring secured to the legs and hidden. I was going to drill out holes and feed through at a later date to neaten everything up but with the straps I honestly can't even see them, so I may not bother.I'm very happy with these and they've solved my headache. If you own similar speakers these are perfectly suitable. I looked first through page after page and just went with these with my fingers crossed and it paid off. When I can be bothered I may drill the centre hole to match the speakers placement but for now I know they're secure and don't need to worry. They get a 5 from me!

Simple.
Nice quality and easy to put together. Came with parts to attach the the feet, for either carpeted floors or hard floors, but haven’t bothered fitting them.

Good value
Firstly, understand what these are. They are cheap stands for mini monitor speakers. For what they are, they are well made and finished. If you put heavy bookshelf speakers on them that are a foot tall or more, they will rock and be unsteady. Get some Atacama stands or equivalent if you have bigger bookshelf speakers. I have Cambridge Audio SX50s on mine which fit exactly. You can greatly improve these stands by 2/3 filling the tubes with cheap kiln dried sand. Cut a tiny corner off the sand bag and it pours in easily with minimal spill. Note, it does not take much, so get a small bag if you can! Another cheap mod I plan to make is to get some outrigger feet for mine, to increase the footprint, improve stability and dampen vibrations. If you have spare ground anchor shoes from a gazebo, I think they would slip on exactly to further improve stability. Unlike how these are set up in the images, I've set mine up with the poles aligned front to back rather than side by side, again to maximise stability when the woofers are firing. Lastly, I'd use blue-tack rather than the supplied spikes to secure your speakers, because light speakers can too easily be swatted off the stands.

A stand up product.
Bought these for a small but heavy pair of rare 1979 speakers I have in my collection.Very nicely made and easy to put together stands that look good as well.If I were wanting stands for a £1000 pair of audiophile speakers Iwould pass as they aren’t the most stable or sound dead stands I’ve seen with a tendency to rock forwards due to the twin post side by side design and small footprint , but for everyday use where absolute stability and harmonic distortion isn’t a big issue they are excellent.Well worth the money.

Good stands but no wire feed
These stands are good and fairly solid but there’s no where to run the speaker cable to hide it, most speaker stands the cable goes inside it so can’t be seen but these come with two Velcro straps so one for each stand which isn’t enough.
