Larger than expected, and it also squeaks - which i wasn't expecting. Nice little touch, although the dog is now also taking a keen interest in it!Extreemly lightweight, so she is able to move it how she wishes, apparently the legs are the best place to chomp! Great go to teether!Came with certificate of authenticity, lovely little touch. My little girl is 14 months and obsessed with giraffes - so she is over the moon with it!

I got Sophie for my son when he was 3 months old. He did use the teether for a while but lost interest. As soon as he hit 4 month, I think he remembered the toy and was reaching for it, and now it’s his favorite thing to chew on! It’s quite easy to hold. Whichever way you hold it, there’s something to chew on so the size is great. It is expensive, I will say that, but if you think it’ll work for your little one, the price is worth it.

This toy was an absolute favourite for all my boys when they were between 2 to 6 months old! It brought them so much joy, and now I’ve bought it for a dear friend’s little one. Such a wonderful toy, I highly recommend it!

Baby loves this as a teether and finds it hilarious that it squeaks! Had this for my older daughter years ago and have gone back to it as it was very good and easy to hold! Soft on gums.

It's fabulous! The toy was super-fast delivered (in fact it arrived 2 days earlier than expected) just on my baby's 3-month "birthday" - she aboslutely loved it and grasped it easily no sooner we gave it to her.It was about a week or two before that our baby started to grasp on anything that would come close to her hands and try putting it into her mouth, and so when I saw Sophie la Giraffe on amazon (I had not known the toy before) I thought it could be a very good idea to get it for her - and so it proved to be: Sophie is just perfect for a small baby's hand exercises - the long neck and legs can be easily grasped even by a tiny hand and the many curves and protruding cheeks, nose and ears fit perfect into a baby's mouth (our baby especially loves sucking on Sophie's nose). I think it also stimulates pretty well the developement of hand control- after a couple of days out little was easily passing the toy from one hand to the other, turning it around etc.The quality of the toy is really good and considering how it is made it is really good value. The material is very soft and very nice in touch, is very elastic and looks durable, and the very delicate smell is of natural rubber. Do keep in mind that the toy is made in France and not in one of the many low-cost factories in China as most of the toys nowdays and part of the production is completed manually (each giraffe is finished: polished and painted individually by hand), and so though the price might seem a bit high for a rubber toy, it still offers a great price-quality relation in my opinion.I hope it will work well as well as a teething toy when the time comes! Sophie is so nice, I really would not want to change it for another one!

Bought this when my baby started teething at 6 months, he is now 12 months and he loves it. The legs are perfect to fit into his mouth so he can chew. It’s easy for him to hold. Only negative, it’s a pain to clean as you can’t submerge fully in water due to the hole that allows it to squeak.

I have brought this for both my Grandsons now and they absolutely love it! Even though it's been renamed Geoff!Well worth the money!One Grandson's favourite toys at the moment.
