Q: i need 100 ml of squid ink-how many sachets is that?

You get 32 grams of ink, in 8 sachets, so if the recipe really requires that much, you will need three lots of '16g x 2'. But the instructions on the packet say to 'mix 1g with 100ml water or stock'. All I can tell you for sure is that we used 4 sachets - i.e. 16g - for a main course risotto for 6 people and it was pitch black and very delicious. Hope this helps

Good morning, The ingredients are as follows: Sterilised Cuttlefish ink 40%, water, salt, thickener: Sodium carboxymethlycellulose. Thank you.

Q: is this item durable?

I don't know what you mean by durable. Are you concerned that the sachets might burst? I ordered mine and it arrived safely. Used some in England and then brought some sachets to Spain packed in hold luggage on the plane. It survived the journey perfectly well.
